FUNERAL SET FOR RESIDENT OF AREA, 73
Jacob P. Weninger, 73, Route 1, Brownsville, died Monday at Waupun Memorial Hospital where he was a patient for two weeks.
Born in the Town of Lomira on Sept. 4, 1897, he was a son of Michael and Elizabeth Rohlinger Weninger. He married Lucy Oechsner.
Mr. Weninger was a member of St. Mary’s Holy name Society at Lomira.
Survivors include his widow; six sons, Kenneth of East Dubuque, Ill., Cornelius and Michael both of Brownsville; Robert in Peru, South America, Rodger of Mayville and George of Lomira; and five daughters, Mrs. Leroy
Ritger of West Bend, Mrs. Elizabeth Beck and Mrs. Margaret Feucht both of Lomira, Mrs. Jerome Emmer of Allenton and Mrs. Lucille Nowakowski of Milwawukee.
Other survivors are 11 grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Minerva Geiger of Milwaukee, Mrs. Margaret Straub of rural Campbellsport and Mrs. Mary Batzler of Kewaskum.
Mr. Weninger was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:15 a.m. Thursday at Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lomira. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

JACOB P. WENINGER Funeral services for Jacob P. Weninger, who died Monday, were held at 10:340 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lomira.The concelebrated Mass was offered by the Rev. Carrol Straub, the Rev. Paul Witteman and the Rev. Russell Tikalsky. The Rev. Ernst Dreher was seated in the sanctuary.Pallbearers, six sons of the deceased, were Kenneth, Cornelius, Robert, Rodger, Michael and George Weninger.Burial was in the church cemetery at Lomira.
