Obituary

Jacob Stoecki, 72, of W302 County H, Lomira, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002, at his home.

He was born Oct. 20, 1930, in Kernel, Yugoslavia, the son of Jacob and Magdalena Ruckstadter Stoecki.

On Feb. 15, 1958, he married Anna Roth at St. Anne's Parish in Milwaukee.

He served with the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. He enjoyed his family and a quiet country life and spent most of his life farming.

Survivors include his wife, Anna of Lomira; children, Anna at home and Joseph (Karen) of Brookfield; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Jacob; mother-in-law, Katharina Roth of Lomira; a sister, Katharina Gauder; niece, Katharina (Cornel) Rosario, and nephew, Hans Stoecki of Germany; and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Lorenz, of Germany.

Services: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 202, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Lomira, with the Rev. Charles Wester officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 10 to11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at the church.

Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira, is serving the family.
