Obituary

JAMES PARKER

James F. “Red” Parker, 70, of 355 S. Seymour St., died Sunday, Aug. 14, 1994, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee.

He was born Sept. 22, 1923, in Fond du Lac, a son of James F. and Myrtle Schingler Parker.  On Aug. 18, 1951, he married Joyce M. Hicken at St. John’s Parish in Byron.

Mr. Parker attended Fond du Lac Senior High School prior to serving in the U.S. Army during World War II.  He was employed as a superintendent at Mercury Marine Foundry for over 40 years.  Mr. Parker was a member of Bohlman-Grimes VFW Post 1904.

Survivors include his wife; one sister, Carolyn Fox of Redwood City, Calif.; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents and three brothers.

Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday and at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Church in Byron.  The Rev. Donald Zerkel will officiate.  Burial will be at the parish cemetery.
