JOHN COULAHAN
John E. Coulahan, 73, of 350 Arlington Ave., died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, 1979, at St. Agnes Hospital.
He was born Sept. 5, 1905, in Byron, the son of the late John and Mary McCullough Coulahan. He married Hazel Hintz at Waukegan, Ill., on Aug. 24, 1931.
Mr. Coulahan served in the Army. He was employed in building construction and was secretary-treasurer of Local 186 from 1951 to 1957.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Jack of Rockford, Ill., and Dennis of Fond du Lac; and five daughters, Mrs. Joseph (June) Poklasny of Oshkosh, Mrs. James (Janice) Johnson of Ottumwa, Iowa, Mrs. Thomas (Mary) Schilling of Neenah, Mrs. Robert (Kathryn) Christie and Mrs. Robert (Noreen) Van Price both of Fond du Lac.
Also surviving are 21 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. James Hicken and Mrs. Hubert Eggers both of Fond du Lac and Mrs. John Bast of Minocqua.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerald P. Schmitz will officiate, and burial will be in St. John’s Church Cemetery, Byron.
Friends of Mr. Coulahan may call from 9 to 99 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
