KATHARINA ROTH

Katharina Roth, 92, of 475 Grove St., Lomira, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.

She was born Oct. 20, 1911, in Hatscha, Yugoslavia, he daughter of Michael and
Katharina Maier Brandelik.

In 1928, she married Stefan Roth in Hatscha, Yugoslavia.

She was a longtime member of the German Schwabenhof Club in Milwaukee.  She worked for 18 years at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Milwaukee as a housekeeper in the doctors’ dormitory, where she cared for many young doctors.

Survivors include one son, Josef of Germany; two daughters, Magdalena Ulrich of Hicksville, N.Y., and Anna Stoeckl of Lomira; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.  She was deeply loved by her many grandchildren, especially her little Anni and her many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stefan.

Services:  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004, at St. Mar’s Church in Lomira, with the Rev. Kevin Kowalske officiating.  Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lomira.

Visitation:  From 10 a.m. until the time of services on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004, at the church.

Kietzer Funeral Home of Lomira is assisting the family.
