LEONE WHITTY
Miss Leone Whitty, 84, of Phoenix, Ariz., died Monday, June 30, 1986, in Dallas, Tex.
She was born Sept. 209, 1901, in the Town of Byron to James and Margaret Clark Whitty.
She attended Lomira High School and was employed as an executive secretary for Ladish Co., Milwaukee, until her retirement when she moved to Phoenix. For the last two months she was a resident of Autumn Leaves Retirement Home, Dallas, Tex., where she moved to be near family.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Marguerite McCarty of San Benito, Tex., and Mrs. Andrew (Agnes Brown of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by four brothers.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 8 p.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church, Byron. The Rev. Peter Drenzek will officiate. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Byron. There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
The Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira, is in charge of arrangements.
