AREA MAN DIES AT 47; SERVICE SET
The operator of Heisler's Tavern, Kewaskum, Louis Clem Heisler, 47, Kewaskum, died Tuesday evening at his home.
He was born Jan. 21, 1922, in Milwaukee, a son of Louis J. and Agnes Brodzeller Heisler. He married Eileen Backus on Nov. 13, 1948, in Holy Trinity Church Rectory, Kewaskum.
Mr. Heisler came to Kewaskum with his family in 1924. He operated the tavern for 2 1/2 years.
He was a member of Robert G. Romaine Post 384, American Legion, Kewaskum, and Kettle Moraine Sportsman's Association, Kewaskum.
Survivors include two sons, Steven and Stan, both of West Bend; one sister, Mrs. William Harbeck of Kewaskum; and two brothers, Russell of West Bend and Franklin of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Miller's Funeral Home, Kewaskum, and at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, Kewaskum. The Rev. John T. Budde will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lomira.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
