Collien, Milton F. Milton F. "Bud" Collien, 96, of Oakfield, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011 at Hospice Home of Hope, Fond du Lac where he had been a patient the last six days. He was born July 12, 1914, in the Township of Oakfield, the son of the late Fred and Nora Wild Collien. On Sept.7, 1940, he was united in marriage to Dorothy H. Hinkes at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Leroy. He was a member of Sons of Zebedee Parish St. James Church in Oakfield. Bud worked for Mammoth Springs and Friday Canning Factory for many years. Later, Bud and his wife, Dorothy farmed in the Oakfield area until 1975. He then went to work for Michels Pipeline doing field work, working in the shop and cleaning offices until March of 2009. Bud enjoyed bowling, going to baseball games and spending time at his grandson's cabin in Glidden with family, whom he treasured very much. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Dorothy, of Oakfield; his children, Mary Helen (James) Ausloos, Oakfield and Dale (Susan) Collien of Fond du Lac; three grandchildren, Brian (Christina) Ausloos, Waupun, Kerry (Valerie) Collien, Fond du Lac, and Jennifer (special friend, Lee Montano) Collien, Dallas, Texas; two great-grandsons, Cody and Casey Ausloos; one brother, Lyle (Phyllis) Collien, Oakfield; nieces, nephews, and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Evelyn (Alfred, Sr.) Kohli and Lucille (Donald) Zahn; two brothers-in-law, Victor (Helen) Hinkes and Melvin (Lavern) Hinkes; and one infant brother-in-law. VISITATION: Visitation hours will be from held 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. Visitation hours will continue from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, at church.
