TAVERN MAN FROM LOMIRA IS DEAD AT 75
OSCAR P. BECK RITES SCHEDULED AT CHURCH ON WEDNESDAY
Oscar p. Beck, 75, of Lomira, died today at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Beaver Dam, following a two-day illness.

A former farmer in the Town of Lomira, and operator of a tavern in the Village of Lomira for 19 years before his retirement, he was born March 28, 1891, in the Town of Lomira, the son of Pierre and Angeline Grief Beck. Mr. Beck was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Lomira, and the Holy name Society.

Survivors include two daughters; five grandchildren; four brothers, Burger, Sylvester and Paul of Lomira, and Martin of Brownsville; and three sisters, Mrs. Francis Ilker, Mayville, Mrs. Erona Lang, Waukesha, and Miss Eugenia Beck of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Church, Lomira, Rev. Mark Lyons officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira.

Funeral services for Oscar P. Beck who died Monday were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Church, Lomira, Rev. Mark Lyon officiating. Pallbearers were Andrew Sauer, John Cole, Jack Schraufnagel, Eugene Klink, Arthur Zehren and Ray Gruel. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lomira. Mr. Beck is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary E. Beck.
