RICHARD G. KUECHENBERG
Richard George Kuechenberg, 64, of N3712 Highway 175 South, died Sunday, July 18, 1999, at his home in Byron.
He was born on Dec. 4, 1934, in Fond du Lac, a son of Hugo and Ruth Brown Kuechenberg.
On Sept. 1, 1956, he married Mary Alice Gueller at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac.
Richard was a truck driver for Gross Common Carrier for 16 years and then for Advance Transportation until his retirement.
After retiring, he enjoyed driving school bus for Johnson Bus Co. He was an avid sportsman, a member of East Shore Sportsman Club, Teamsters Union Local 200 and St. John’s Catholic Church in Byron (now known as Sons of Zebedee Catholic Church) where Richard served as a trustee.
Survivors include his wife, Mary of Byron; two daughters, Virginia “Ginny” Cutler and Theresa Minkin, both of Fond du Lac; three sons, Michael (Pamela) Kuechenberg, Patrick Kuechenberg and Jonathan (Dawn) Kuechenberg, all of Fond du Lac; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant brother; and one brother, Gerald Kuechenberg.
Services: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sons of Zebedee Catholic Church (St. John’s) in Byron. The Rev. James Posanski will officiate. Cremation will follow the services. Inurnment will be at the parish cemetery.
Visitation: From 10 a.m. to the time of services Tuesday at the church. Zacherl Funeral Home is serving the family.
