SYLVIA BRISTOL
Sylvia Clara Bristol, 88, of 327 S. Waupaca St. Wautoma, formerly of Oakfield, died Wednesday, March 2, 1997, at Wautoma Care Center.
She was born on Jan. 3, 1909, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Fred and Susan Weinreis Gulig. On July 3, 1937, she married Alvin M. Bristol in Fond du Lac.
Mrs. Bristol was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Oakfield and its Altar Society. She was a graduate of Fond du Lac High School and Fond du Lac Business College.
Survivors include two sisters, Crescentia Koenders of Wautoma, and Adeline Aigner and her husband Arthur of Fond du Lac; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband in 1988; and two brothers, Max Gulig and Gilbert Gulig.
Services: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Catholic Church, in Oakfield. The Rev. Donald Zerkel will officiate. Burial will be at Avoca Cemetery, Oakfield.
Visitation: From 9 a.m. Saturday to the 11 a.m. services at the church. Kohls Community Funeral Home of Waupun is serving the family.
