Funeral services for William Bruha, 81, of Oakfield who died Thursday at his home, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Kohls Company Funeral Home, Oakfield, and at 10 a.m. at St. James Church in Oakfield.
The Rev. Richard Fechhelm will officiate, and burial will be in the Avoca Cemetery, Oakfield. Family and friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Born Aug. 11, 1893, in Vernon County, Mr. Bruha was the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Bruha. He married Hazel McGowan on Sept. 8, 1926, at Lodi. She preceded him in death in 1971.
The couple moved to Fond du Lac shortly after their marriage. Mr. Bruha was employed as an engineer at the Fond du Lac County Hospital for 18 years before retiring in 1958 and moving to Oakfield.
Surviving are two brothers, James of Hillsboro, and Edward of Weyauwega; and two sisters, Mrs. Martha Krajei and Miss Lulu Bruha, both of Hillsboro.
Memorials may be directed to the Avoco Cemetery or St. James Church in Oakfield.
